1. Make every supplier quote the same request
Use one product brief for all suppliers. Include material, size, color, function, accessories, packaging, logo requirements, quantity, destination, and any mandatory quality points.
2. Confirm what the quoted price includes
- Exact product specification and quality level.
- Standard or customized packaging.
- Logo, label, barcode, insert, or carton mark costs.
- Delivery term and local delivery point.
- Quotation currency, validity period, and tax or export treatment.
3. Compare MOQ, samples, and lead time
Ask for MOQ per model, color, and design. Confirm sample price, sample lead time, mass-production lead time, and whether the sample cost can be credited after an order. Lead time should begin from a clearly defined event, such as deposit and artwork approval.
4. Review payment and quality-control terms

Response quality matters. Look for clear answers, stable specifications, realistic lead times, willingness to provide samples or evidence, and careful confirmation of details. A supplier who avoids basic questions creates risk before production begins.

- Unit price at the same quantity.
- MOQ by color or design.
- Sample terms and production lead time.
- Packaging and customization costs.
